Why order this Silver 2018-P World War I Centennial Commemorative Dollar

This Commemorative 2018-P World War I Centennial Silver Dollar is perfect for collectors who honor the sacrifices that military members have made during history, especially in the First World War. The coin marks one hundred years since the end of that war. Struck from 26.7 g of .900 fine silver, the coin is one of 350,000 that were issued.

Touching Solder's Charge Design by LeRoy Transfield

LeRoy Transfield designed and Don Everhart sculpted both faces of this coin. A soldier dutifully carries his rifle by barbed wire on the obverse. The image is known as "Soldier's Charge."

The reverse design is called "Poppies in the Wire." Poppies have been used to memorialize those who gave their lives for their countries for nearly a century. The symbol originated from a poem, "In Flanders Fields," which was composed in the course of World War I. The flowers are intertwined with barbed wire, on which countless soldiers were killed right through the conflict.

Perfect MS70 ER

This coin received a grade of Mint State 70 (MS70) from Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), meaning that it is flawless not only as seen by the naked eye but also as seen under 5x magnification. NGC also certified the piece as an Early Release, a designation that indicates that it was received for grading within 30 days of its initial Mint release.
