Civil War Ladder/ Shield Badge 11th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry

Sold on eBay

Description

Own a work of Civil Battle historical past! This wonderful Ladder/Protect Badge belonged to Martin Redding (Union). His title seems at the roster as Martin Reding but it surely used to be noted that his closing title used to be spelled incorrectly. The medal is from the eleventh Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Co. F.

Martin served from 1861-1865. He used to be concerned within the siege of Vicksburg and the Struggle of Port Gibson. There’s a few data that used to be discovered on the net and has been photographed for ebay and can be included with the acquisition.
I discovered just one such badge to be had for comparison and it used to be on a web site known as Civilwarbadges.com
Considering the age of this badge I might say it’s in excellent situation.
