EXTRA SPECIAL ANTIQUE PERSIAN AFSHAR TRIBAL RUG – 4’7″ x 6’4″ RED & BLUE
Extra Special antique Persian Afshar village rug with a fantastic double medallion geometric pattern set on classic red inner field.
Some of the secondary colors come with: navy, blue, ivory, yellow, brown and green. The rug is hand knotted with wool pile on wool base and measures approx. 4’7″ x 6’4″. The entire dyes are naturally derived from plant and mineral sources. This circa 100 years old used rug is available in most commonly uniform condition with low pile, scattered areas of damage and one in part exposed side-chord, as pictured. It has complete sides and ends and one end still retains a part of the unique braided fringe from when it was once completed. An excessively charming rug to revel in or collect. If you want a custom-cut, non-skid pad, just ask.
